Looking back makes us realize where we are going. This journey shall make our minds travel back in time and see the struggle of the people of Laguna, how they tamed the fertile mountainside, and discover the wealth in its soil. The hundreds of years of efforts of the people of Laguna to find their own identity, their courage, and determination now form part of Laguna's psyche, evidenced by the strong, vibrant and continuing growth of the province. The facts speak for itself.
Today, Laguna is "A Land of Opportunity and Enterprise." The tangible sense of enthusiasm now spreading in the province is in no small measure an unswerving effect of the vision and spirit of of its people, whether they are teachers, factory workers, farmers, professionals, businesspeople, young people or politicians.
Laguna has a good fortune. God endowed the province with abundant natural wealth and diverse human talent.

It fosters a stunning array of glorious scenery and natural wonders. Most people admire the beauty of Laguna de Bay and surrounding areas viewed from the National Arts Center at the edge of a tropical rain forest at the foot of Mount Makiling. Of course there are other countless experiences such as "Shooting the Rapids" in Pagsanjan, boating and fishing at Caliraya Lake, and the Seven Lakes of San Pablo City, having a dip at the hot springs of Calamba City and Los Baños, enjoying the flowers and shades of the wild tropical plants and centuries-old trees, and be refreshed by the cascading pools of Hidden Valley Springs in Alaminos.
