Jobs, Safe Streets, Community, Environment for a progressive Calamba City

Calamba City  has seen tremendous growth over the past few years, It is Considered the heart of CALABARZON due to the number of companies housed in its area.  It is also one of the premiere industrial hubs outside of Metro Manila providing great jobs to thousands. We need to capitalize on that growth by ensuring that we are creating sustainable jobs for Calambeños in every neighborhood and community and not just a selected few.   We have to invest in our future by building and improving the infrastructure necessary to draw the high-tech jobs that will push Calamba City further forward.

Calamba City has a fundamental responsibility to protect its citizens. People in our city should feel safe, whether they’re strolling around town or shopping for groceries. Public safety plays a vital role in our communities, serving as a cornerstone of stability and professionalism. Our dedicated police force must be properly funded and managed so that it can safeguard every neighborhood in Calamba.

Strong neighborhoods make a strong city. We should invest in the people who live in Calamba City by bringing together involved citizens to solve problems, to create jobs, and to push our city forward.

Neighborhood associations are the lifeblood of our communities. Let’s make sure they have a voice in our city. When there’s a problem our first call is to our neighbors. We need to keep this in mind when we’re creating policy. Ultimately, our neighbors know the issues Calamba City faces better than anyone.  Let’s make sure they’re at the table when we need solutions.

Calamba City has certainly made some impressive improvements, but there’s still work left to do. It’s never okay to weigh financial gains against the health of our communities. There’s no room in Calamba City for factories that let cancer-causing chemicals seep into the groundwater. No room for smokestacks that pump harmful chemicals into our air.

International business has flocked to Calamba City, proving that a green economy is not only sustainable but profitable as well. We need more clean high-tech industry to carry us into the future. Every single one of our neighborhoods deserves job opportunities that can uplift a community without harming it for the future.
